New art post, a lil' bit of angst with this one haha.
Honestly the main reason I drew this was because I wanted to draw his morphology and his arm (I explained how in my imagination his right arm is burnt by gamma injections).
So let's dive in and talk about it a lil bit!

Heh, I wasn't sure if I should put this one in Big Brain Time or Let's Talk given it's not really a theory but more of another very personal post.
But anyway. MCU Sam truly touched my heart. Not just because it's Tim Blake Nelson behind him, not just because it's Sam and not just because of all the Hell I've been through to see it.
There's something about him that is just... Familiar.
So today let's talk about that, let's talk about how MCU Sam reasonate in the heart of a disabled person and why.

Art Time : A cute MCU moment (aka how to draw a more cartoonish MCU Sam)

 

It started very simple. I asked on BlueSky what people would want to see, something angsty or something cute, whatever, I just wanted to draw MCU Sam.

The purpose was mostly to train to draw his bodyshape and face in my style, so a bit more "cartoonish", which is a pretty fucking hard exercice when your character is a live action character, especially when he is portrayed by the actor for who you developped a weird-ass daddy issue crush but anyway.
The point is, I'm trying to find a way to draw MCU Sam in my style while still having him kind of recognizable. I mean, he is recognizable, he has very specific features such as a very bright glowy neon green eye and a blind one, making him look like kind of odd-eyed, a brainish diformed head and neck and a very pale greenish skin so.

I thought it would be nice to start sharing my arts on this blog as well (I'm working on a side blog to have a place with all my arts up because I don't trust social medias also).

Well, as you saw I'm in a MCU Sam (Sterns) mood (I'm just happy to discover and think about a new Sam alright). So today I want to overanalyze every details about MCU Sam and talk about his story, the one that isn't told, the one they tried to bury even, that is still present.

Alright, we're entering another heavy Captain America Brave New World spoiler zone, I'm gonna spoil the end and shit so, again, read at your own risk!

I loved the movie, for a lot of personal reasons. It's far from perfect but it will stay one of my fav movie ever anyway.
But it's clear the movie changed a lot, from what we got in trailers, interviews, promotional leaked pictures and I thought it would be interesting to talk about "what could have been", how things changed, why maybe.
